The 2008 season has come to an end with the last of the finals being played today. The club would like to thank the committee and and parents that made themselves available over the finals period as we had a very busy time with running the grounds and canteen for 24 finals over this period. Thankyou very much.

The president would also like to thank the following people for making themselves available to help with the cleaning of the club rooms on Saturday: Ken Stanlake, Tony Allamby, Michael & Kim Aiken, Teresa Roberts, Karen Becker, Robyn Lydster and Phil Cornell thankyou very much.

Presentation Day will be held on the 14th September starting at 2pm sharp with the Under 9's presentation please make sure you are there on time. The AGM will be held on this day with some presentations to be made. At the conclusion of the day the club is putting on a spit roast with refreshments so we look forward to seeing everyone on the day.

The club is losing quite a few members of the committee at the end of this year with the Secretary, Treasurer, Fixture Coordinator and members of the committee stepping down. Firstly I would like to thank all these members for there commitment to the club and hard work that they have put in during there time filling these positions. To all members of the BJFC it is a new time for new blood to come on board and make a difference. The club will only benifit by your involvement so if you have any thought about having a go please let Ken or Brett know as soon as you can.
